Hello!

I’m Lucy, an illustrator based in Greater Manchester.

Working across a range of media, I use drawing as a tool for many things; as an exploratory device into cultural topics, a method for opening up discussions - to not only communicate the difficult and challenging, but also to give space to the joy and whimsy of life.

I am particularly interested in communicating and evoking feelings in my work and am drawn to narratives with a bit of a twist or an edge. Often inspired by personal experiences and my surroundings, I enjoy taking ownership over the imagery and creating visual worlds through narrative and editorial illustration, connecting viewers emotionally.
